Mixed Media Exhibition on now.
My journal, Artworks October 22nd, 2009It’s been a while since I last blogged about my exciting adventures, so you may like to grab a coffee before you continue reading …
Mixed Media Exhibition:
I am currently holding a small mixed media exhibition at The Food Scene Cafe, in the Cherrybrook Shopping Village.
If you get a chance, pop in to Food Scene for a coffee or lunch and check out the exhibition during the month of October Make sure you say hello to the owner - Rosa. She is really lovely and a wonderful supporter of local artists.
A big thank you to those who have already visited the exhibition and given me such lovely feedback

Art Sale:
For those who live locally, keep an eye out in the Garage Sale section of our local papers. On Saturday 28th of November I will be holding a garage sale (classier title coming soon) from 8am till 8pm. Some of my arty friends will be joining me for what looks to be a day of celebrating our creativity.
I am passionate about making art accessible and affordable so I am hoping this will become an annual event. More info will be blogged closer to the day.
(This is one of the works I will be clearing out to make room for new creative adventures)
Online News:
Remember for cards and prints you can always find me at www.redbubble.com and for up to the minute news, photos of my exhibitions etc on Facebook at www.facebook.com/chasingsooz. I am also currently exploring Zazzle, Twitter, My Space and Imagekind but haven’t really created a body of work on these sites as yet as too much time online leaves no time for creating.
However .. in other online news … I have been named an artist “of Interest” in last month’s edition of Earthmonster illustrated - the digital arts ezine at: http://earthmonster.wordpress.com This of course has tickled my wicked sense of humour as I don’t really see myself as interesting.
(current issue)
The diverse body of work showcased on Earthmonster’s site is breathtaking. There are so many talented artists and they truly do set the goal posts for the caliber of artist that I hope one day to be. So please do take the time to check out earthmonster’s site.
In other news, life continues to be a wonderful adventure for me and I hope your life is also making you smile. Good luck to those sitting their HSC exams, including our eldest who we are very proud of.
Take care
Sooz
